Dealing with Stress

Many of us would describe a healthy Mind, Body and Spirit as Wellness or Wellbeing, but we are also aware of various states, from feeling not so well to feeling very ill. 

Health and Well-being and the affect it has on us depend on a number of factors linked to our:

  1. Emotions
  2. Mind
  3. Body
  4. Spirit

Bodily symptoms such as headaches, digestive disorders and fatigue may accompany emotional or mind states and when we become unwell we may not be able to define whether our Emotions, Mind, Body or Spirit is the main contributor.


If we are very unwell and bodily symptoms prevail we may need to consult a medical practitioner.

However, when we are feeling low and lose the ability to recharge our own energy batteries we may need rest and relaxation to help prevent illness.


Either Reiki, Meditation and Reflexology or a combination of all three can be the perfect solution and can assist the healing process by treating our Emotions, Mind, Body and Spirit.  Increasingly, it is accepted that treating only one part of the foursome is rarely enough.  In the same way, by treating symptoms such as a headache or stomach pain on their own may not deal with the underlying cause of feeling unwell.


One symptom may disappear only to give rise to another.  We are complex beings, and illness or malaise arise from complex interactions within us.

Reiki, Meditation and Reflexology are Complementary Therapies which are capable of bringing us back from the superficial materialistic society in which we live to a warmer more comforting place within.


When a Complementary Therapy such as Reiki or Reflexology is used in the healing process, it is more likely that our Emotions, Mind, Body and Spirit will receive the attention they need and respond in a positive way.


Reiki, Meditation and Reflexology are complementary to each other; they also complement the majority of other natural therapies, as well as the conventional medical approach.  Many different combinations can work well together.

Over the past 40 years Julie has explored many different forms of healing, ranging from Reiki, Meditation, Reflexology, Acupuncture, Yoga, Indian Head Massage, Homeopathy, Radionics, Dr Bach Remedies, Holistic Massage, Journey Therapy, Spiritual Healing, Herbal Remedies, Nutritional Therapy, Energy Interference Patterning and Sports Therapy. 


Julie’s positive healing experiences have proved to her that natural therapies complement each other as well as the scientifically developed ones – working them together where necessary is a sensitive and sensible approach.
